Bolders - Dave Boldy
Dave Boldy launched Going Outside Growing Inside in 2025 to offer services to schools and other groups seeking effective and transformative outdoor learning experiences. Dave brings to the table many years designing and delivering outdoor programs as an educator. He works alongside groups helping them design safe, effective programs, as well as offering outdoor leadership in the field. Going Outside Growing Inside specialise in multi-day hiking and paddling programs, particularly on the South Coast of WA.
Dave was the 2024 recipient of the Outdoors WA award for Individual Achievement, in recognition of his work developing Outdoor Learning programs in a career spanning 30+ years. Dave built a highly regarded Outdoor Education program from scratch in a new school, and has developed and delivered hiking and paddling clubs and programs in multiple organisations. He is a registered teacher with a range of outdoor and teaching qualifications.
